Una Trahan

New Iberia– A Private Graveside Service was conducted for Una Miller Trahan, age 94, Friday, May 22, 2026, at Holy Family Mausoleum with Fr. Keith Landry as Celebrant.

A native of St. Martinville and resident of New Iberia, Una M. Trahan passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at her daughter’s residence in New Iberia.

In her earlier years, Una was an active member of Les Amis Women’s Club and the Pink Ladies. Later in life she enjoyed creating art and crafts with her husband.

Una is survived by her daughter, Dee Ann Trahan; granddaughter, Laurie Leigh Daly; siblings, Earnest Miller (Audrey), Patrick Miller (Anna Lee); and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, Lee Roy Trahan, Sr.; three sons, Kenneth J. Trahan, Lee Roy (Butch) Trahan, Christopher Trahan; parents, Cleopha and Agatha Thibodeaux Miller; siblings, Lee Anna M. Crochet, Francis Miller, Joseph Miller and Lee Miller.

The family would like to thank her Hospice team, Erin Guidry, Michelle Minor, and Pastor Stephanie Leleux for their care and compassion. They would also like to thank her Quality Care Sitters, Jeanette Castillo and Nortaisha Walker. A special thank you to niece/godchild Saundra Trahan Frederick for taking the time out of her busy schedule weekly in support of the family.
