Tina Marie Pauley Friou

New Iberia – Tina Friou, 54, passed away at 6:52PM on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Calcutta House.

Tina will be remembered as a loving soul whose hands were rarely still and whose heart was always full. She found joy in sewing and crocheting, creating beautiful blankets and treasured keepsakes for her grandchildren— each stitch a reflection of her deep love. She delighted in quiet days spent fishing, took special comfort in the beauty of owls and butterflies, and nurtured both vegetables and flowers in her garden with care and pride.

Above all, Tina cherished her family. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her love into every moment spent with them. Her warmth, creativity, and gentle spirit will live on in the many lives she touched and in the memories her family holds dear.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, John Friou; a daughter, Brittany Alfred; a son, Dustin Pauley; and two grandchildren, Elijah Pauley and Mia Alfred.
