Abbeville- A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Thai Nguyen, 68, will be held at St. Andrew Dung Lac RC Church on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 10:00AM with Fr. James Nguyen officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Frioux-David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 5:30 and Mass at 6:00PM, Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 5:30 and Mass at 6:00PM, Friday, November 14, 2025 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 5:30 and Mass at 6:00PM, and Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 8:00AM until time of services.

A resident of Abbeville, Mr. Thai passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. He enjoyed his work as a fisherman and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Hue Thi Nguyen of Abbeville; his children, Huy Nguyen of Houston, TX, Phuong Nguyen and his wife Stacy of Maurice, Thuan Nguyen of Brownsville, TX, Phi Nguyen and his wife Mai of Maurice, Ngoc Nguyen of Abbeville, and Doan Nguyen of Youngsville.

He is preceded in death by his parents Cu Van Nguyen and Maria Cu Nguyen.
