Telly sadly departed from us at 6:32AM on January 5th, 2026 at his residence in Bayou L’Ourse, LA. He was born on October 7th, 1974, in Franklin, Louisiana, to Cynthia Comeaux LaSalle and the late Calvin Joseph LaSalle. He completed his education at Morgan City High School in 1994.
Telly found great pleasure in engaging in conversations with his friends and family via telephone, and in spending time on his computer. He particularly enjoyed McDonald's chicken nuggets, cupcakes, and M&M's. His most treasured hobby was crocheting, a skill he learned from his grandmother, Georgette Chachere Comeaux.
Telly devoted his adult life to the Center of Hope in Centerville, Louisiana. He was an enthusiastic participant in the Special Olympics and The Night to Shine Prom. Furthermore, he was dedicated to fundraising efforts for the Cerebral Palsy Telethon.
Telly's preferred sport was football, and he was a loyal Saints fan, consistently watching every game broadcast on television.
Telly is survived by his mother, Cynthia Comeaux LaSalle; his brother, Gregory LaSalle and his wife Heather Giroir LaSalle; a nephew, Dylan Giroir; numerous cousins; and his loving and faithful dog Sassy. He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Joseph LaSalle, his paternal grandparents, Melvin LaSalle and Maudry Richard LaSalle, and his maternal grandparents, Clifton Comeaux and Georgette Chachere Comeaux.
Serving as pallbearers will be Allen LaSalle, Jason LaSalle, Leroy “L.J.” LaSalle, David Clements, Jeff Suire, and Dylan Giroir.
