Taisha Duke

Charenton – A Private Memorial Service for Mrs. Taisha Duke, 43, will be held at a later date.

A native Pasadena, TX and a resident of Charenton, Mrs. Duke died at 10:50AM on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at her residence. Taisha was known for her love for painting and the outdoors, especially going to the beach. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandson.

She is survived by three sons, Ayden Merrifield of Baldwin, Trenton Merrifield of Arizona, and Leyton Garica of Pasadena, TX; her father, Wesley Duke, Jr. of Charenton; Three brothers, Wesley Duke, III., Shawn Duke, and Brandon Duke; two sisters, Pam Eden and Samatha Sizemore; and a grandson, Jenson Merrifield.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Kundsen Duke; and a brother, Russell Conyers.
