A true outdoorsman, Steve spent countless hours in the great outdoors—fishing and deer hunting at the camp in the Basin, where some of his fondest memories were made. He was never happier than when he was surrounded by nature or waiting patiently in the woods. He also had a passion for riding motorcycles and boating, always seeking out adventure and the open road or water with a smile on his face.
Steve married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Marsha. Together they built a beautiful life, raising two children who were the light of his life. A devoted family man, Steve's love for his children and grandchildren knew no bounds, and his presence brought warmth, laughter, and strength to all who knew him.
Steve was a social soul, known for his easy laughter, generous heart, and the way he made everyone feel like family. He never met a stranger, and his presence left a lasting impression on all who crossed his path. He was truly loved by everyone who had the privilege to know him.
Steve’s life was rich in love, joy, and connection. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
He is survived by a son, Steven Chambers; a daughter, Stephanie Chambers; four grandchildren, Kennadi Kramer, Annelise Dworazyk, Dash Bundrick, and Graham Chambers; two sisters, Sandra C. Gachassin, and Christine Hulin and her husband Bill; and a brother, Scott Chambers.
