Roy Beaudeaux, Sr.

Abbeville – A Graveside Service for Roy Beaudeaux Sr., 63, will be held at 2:30PM on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Saint Paul Cemetery of Abbeville.

A resident of Abbeville, Mr. Roy passed away at 9:49PM on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at his residence. Roy grew up near the water and never strayed far from it, spending innumerable hours casting a line or crabbing. But more than anything, Roy cherished family. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather and touched many lives.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Carla Fields Beaudeaux of Abbeville; his son, Roy Beaudeaux II; three daughters, Tonya Boudreaux, Tara Beaudeaux, and April Mire and husband Jason Mire; three brothers, John O’Quinn, Paul O’Quinn, and Marcus Hebert; a half-brother, Deno Cheramie; a half-sister, Monica Smith; and his grandchildren, Falon Freed, Blaze Freed, Lily Beaudeaux, and Max Galliano.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Cheramie and Sarah Beaudeaux; his brother, Richard Beaudeaux; his sister, Eula Faye Beaudeaux.

Serving as pallbearers are Jason Mire, Blaze Freed, David Meaux, Derrick Beaudeaux, and Shirley Batchelor.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are John O’Quinn, Ricky Fields, and Marcus Hebert.
