Rose Mae Bertrand Vincent

Lafayette – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Rose Vincent, at 12:00PM on Friday, July 17, 2026, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville, with Father Russo officiating. Interment will follow at St. Anne Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 9:00AM, Friday, July 17, 2026 at Frioux Funeral Home of Lafayette, and continue until the time of service. A Recitation of the Rosary will be led by Audrey Vincent at 10:00AM.

Rose Mae Bertrand Vincent passed away at 8:00AM on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her loved ones. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether that be spending quiet hours with a good book or creating beautiful handmade treasures through crochet. Above all, she valued the time spent with her family, whose love and laughter were the greatest blessings of her life.

Rose is survived by six children, Dennis Vincent and his wife Audrey, Diana East, Rita Vincent, Rebecca Garrison, Julie Vincent, Josie Zimoski; her brother, Adam Bertrand; her sister, Faye Waltman; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Lee Vincent; her son, Roger Vincent; her parents Adam Bertrand and Eloise Martin Bertrand; her brother, Joseph Bertrand; two sisters, Shirley Smith, Brenda Gonzales.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Angela Kershaw, Gravity Kershaw, Gary Vincent, Chance Zimoski, and Dillon Hernandez.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Curtis Garrison, Grayson Hernandez, Anthony Leger Jr., and Emmett Garrison.
