Duson – Funeral Services for Robert Joe Myers, 67, will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Frioux Funeral Chapel of Lafayette with Rev. Chad Chaddick Officiating. A private interment will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be held at Frioux-David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 beginning at 9:00 AM until the time of the services.

A native of Yuma, AZ and a resident of Duson, Mr. Myers died at 7:15 AM on Monday, January 13, 2025 at his residence. Joe worked over 30 years in the oilfield doing slickline. He loved being with his grandchildren; playing chess and Pac Man; and help his wife with her sewing.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Joylene Brasseaux Myers of Duson; a daughter, LaMesia Pierce and her husband Jason of Gulfport, MS; three sons, Nicholas Domingue of Lafayette, Raymond Myers and his wife Megan of Rayne, and Robert S. Myers of Duson; three sisters, Annette Cook, Snookie Jane Myers, and Shirra Martinez; and six grandchildren, Luke Pierce, Landon Pierce, Ayden Myers, Preston Myers, Anevay Shipp, and Cassian Myers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Lois Marie Francis Myers; and a brother, Evelton Ray Myers.
