Renee Callier Flinn

New Iberia – A Liturgy of the Word will be held for Renee Callier Flinn, 59, at 11:00AM, on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Frioux Funeral Home of New Iberia, with Deacon Russell Hayes officiating. Inurnment will follow at Beau Pre Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 6:00PM, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Frioux Funeral Home of New Iberia and continue until 9:00PM. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 9:00AM and continue until the time of service at 11:00AM.

Renee Callier Flinn was a resilient and fun-loving woman with a generous heart and a beautiful, bright smile that could light up any room. She had a deep love for animals and cherished her beloved pets, as well as the simple beauty of flowers and gardening, and being on the water reeling in fish. Some of her favorite moments were spent sitting peacefully in her rocking chair on the porch, enjoying the comfort of home and the beauty around her. Renee was truly a bright spot on earth whose life touched many hearts. She left this world far too soon, but her kindness, laughter, radiant smile, and loving spirit will never be forgotten.

Renee is survived by her husband of 26 years, Robert Scott Flinn; her daughter, Morgan Martin and her fiancé Rakeem Turner; her sister, Colette Landry and her husband Jobie; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She is preceded by her parents, William Whitaker Callier and Jean Sweeney Callier; her son, Brandon Martin; and one brother, Darin Biano.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Renee's dear friends, Holly and Tabitha, for remaining by her side offering not only their friendship, but exceptional care.
