New Iberia--It is with great sadness that Mr. Keith Randazzo and family announce the passing of Peggy Ann Dugas Randazzo, age 66, on Monday, June 8, 2026, at her residence in New Iberia.

Peggy passed away surrounded by her loving husband, Keith Randazzo, and close family. Peggy loss her mother when she was only five months old. She was lovingly raised by her older sister, Antonia, and Antonia’s husband, Fabian, who welcomed Peggy into their home as one of their own children alongside Jerry, Larry, Pat, and Edolia.

Peggy had a profound faith in God. She cherished spending time in nature, appreciating the beauty of the outdoors. She found joy in making memories, cooking, fishing, art, crafts, and painting, hobbies that reflected her creative spirit and love of life.

Many people throughout the community recognized Peggy from her more than 20 years of dedicated service at Cypress Bayou Casino, where she was a host and touched countless lives with her warm smile and friendly personality. She will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and the love she shared with those around her. Keith would like to express his heartfelt love, gratitude, and special recognition to Tatum, Dylan, Lorena, Linda, Karla, Taylor and Syren. Peggy’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She will be deeply missed. The family appreciates your thoughts, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Information regarding services and arrangements will be shared as it becomes available.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 23 years, Keth Randazzo, children, Tatum Duchamp Smith (Kevin) of St. Martinville, Emile “Dylan” J. Duchamp, III (Ila) of Youngsville, Mario K. Randazzo of Luling, Melissa Randazzo of Austin, Tx., Joseph Randazzo (Taylor) of Pulski, VA.; grandchildren, Alayna, Collin, Taigen, Liam, Mario Jr., Kira, Kevin, Syren; great-grandchildren, Asher, Kevalena; siblings, Aldus, Jr., Anna, Elsie, Lorena, and Linda.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Aldus J. Sr., and Lorena Bourque Dugas; siblings, Alvin, Daniel, Bernadette, Laurance, Mable, Antonia, and Edmonia.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Hospice of Acadiana for all their kindness and support they shared.
