Pat's greatest legacy is the loving family he built alongside his best friend and soulmate, Elaine, during their 61 years of marriage. Their strong, enduring bond set a beautiful foundation for their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought Pat immeasurable joy. He treasured spending time with his family. Pat also treasured his wonderful friends who always took time for visits, card games, supper club and dinner outings. Pat's dedication extended to his country, where he proudly served as a member of the United States Navy. He served on a submarine and spent long periods of time on the USS Threadfin. His naval service also provided him with electrical training, which launched his career as an electrician working alongside his brother, Mickey, at Villermin’s Electric. Pat approached every day with joy and optimism, which was a testament to his perseverance and faith in God. He embodied true resilience throughout his life, and was an inspiration to everyone who knew him. Growing up, Pat enjoyed fishing, hunting and passionately watching football—he was a relentless Saints and LSU fan.
