Lafayette – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mrs. Pat Gannard, 95, at 11:00AM, on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Broussard. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette.

Visitation will begin at 9:00AM, on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Frioux-David Funeral Home of Lafayette and continue until the time of service. A Recitation of the Rosary will be led by Kim Bergeron at 10:00AM.

Readers will be Tanya Greenwall and Kim Bergeron. Giftbearers will be Jessica Gannard and Chloe Gannard.

Mrs. Pat Gannard will be remembered for her deep love of family, simple joys, and cherished traditions. She found happiness in small pleasures like playing slot machines, bourrée with loved ones, and enjoying boiled crabs. She loved traveling, especially to the western mountains, and took pride in hosting Saturday family meals that brought everyone together. Above all, she loved her family deeply, with a special place in her heart for her great-granddaughter, Chloe. Her legacy is one of love, warmth, and devotion.

Mrs. Pat Gannard is survived by her son, Randy Gannard and his girlfriend, Tammy Thibodeaux; two grandchildren, Jason Tad Gannard and his wife, Michelle, and Jessica Gannard; one great-grandchild, Chloe Gannard; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Mervin “Jessie” Gannard; her parents, Euloge Landry and Laura Girouard Landry; one brother, Emery Landry; and six sisters, Verna Landry Guthrie, Anna Riu, Rose Landry Guidry, Goldie Racca, Shirley Ledet, and Doris Theall.

Pallbearers will be Randy Gannard, Jason Gannard, Collin Guthrie, Mike Theall, Kyle Guidry, and Ronnie Ledet.

Mrs. Pat’s family would like to extend their deep appreciation to Kim Bergeron and Betty Guthrie Broussard for the years of selflessness, compassion, commitment, and loyalty they provided helping to care for Mrs. Pat, and also them.
