He was proud of his family’s musical background, and his grandfather and jazz musician, Wilton Hebert (spouse Mary Landry) was a mentor. Oren loved listening to classic rock music. He loved sitting with his grandparents, including Ruth Louviere “Momsie” (spouse August), prodding them for their childhood and lifetime stories.
