O'Neil Brent Delcambre

Erath – Funeral Services for Mr. O’Neil Brent Delcambre, 82, will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath with Fr. Alexander Albert officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 beginning at 9:00AM until the services with a recitation of the rosary at 9:30AM.

A native of Delcambre and a resident of Abbeville, Mr. Delcambre died at 8:00AM on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at AMG Rehab Hospital in Covington. Mr. Brent was known for his love for talking to people; playing Bouree; and being with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also loved the outdoors which included hunting, fishing, playing golf, and planting a garden.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Connie Rodriguez Delcambre of Abbeville; two daughters, Schuyler D. Poche and her husband Mark of Erath, and Britlyn D. Trahan and her husband Dr. Christopher of Mandeville; a sister, Catherine D. Strother; five grandchildren, Ryan Poche, Caroline Poche, Beau Trahan, Jack Trahan, and Ella Trahan; and two great grandchildren, James Poche and Mark Poche.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Euda Delcambre and Olite LeBlanc Delcambre.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Poche, Beau Trahan, Jack Trahan, Mark Poche, Dr. Christopher Trahan, and Jonathan d’Augereau.
