New Iberia- Funeral Services for Mr. Michael Charpentier, 60, will be held at Frioux- David Funeral Home of New Iberia on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 1:00PM with Deacon Russell Hayes officiating. Interment will Follow at Beau Pre’ Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Frioux- David Funeral Home of New Iberia on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 10:00AM until time of services with a recitation of the rosary at 12:30PM.

A native of New Iberia, Mr. Michael passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2025. Michael was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending time outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, or tending to his garden. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and sharing his songs with those around him. Above all, Michael loved spending time with his children and his family. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his wife, Suzette Charpentier of New Iberia; his children, Jacob Charpentier of New Iberia, Jolie Charpentier of New Iberia, and Jude Charpentier of New Iberia; his siblings, Kathleen Glasgow and her husband Greg of Broussard, Annette Cuneo and her husband Mark of Lafayette, Melanie Daigle and her husband Philip Daigle, Jr. of Lafayette, and Prudence Charpentier of Lafayette; his godfather, Marshall Charpentier of Victoria, TX; his uncle, Hillary Charpentier of Franklin; and his aunt, Earline Dupre of Sorrel.

He is preceded in death by his parents, JC Charpentier and Cecile Hebert Charpentier; and his godson, Zachary Brown.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob Charpentier, Jolie Charpentier, Jude Charpentier, Greg Glasgow, Michael Badeaux, and Jeffrey Roberts.

Frioux- David Funeral Home of New Iberia, 1101 Trotter Street, 337-369-6336, will be handling the arrangements.
