Marjorie Frank Louviere, 67, passed away on July 13, 2026. Just twelve days later, on July 25, 2026, her beloved husband and soulmate, Oren Louviere, followed her in death — and so, after a lifetime together, the two of them are reunited once more.
Marjorie was born and raised in New Iberia, Louisiana, alongside her six siblings and parents, Betty Harry Frank and Edward Louis Frank. She was a quiet, kind, and reserved woman by nature — but those who truly knew her got to see her silly, playful side, and treasured her for it. She was widely admired for her resilience, facing life’s hardships with a quiet strength that never wavered.
Marjorie was a devoted wife to Oren for many years. Theirs was a great love story — they bickered and fussed as any couple does, but at the end of the day, it was always the two of them against the world. She was equally devoted to her four children, whom she loved deeply, and to her six grandchildren, who brought her tremendous joy.
An animal lover to her core, Marjorie always kept pets close and cared for them with complete devotion — cooking them dinner from scratch every single day. She leaves behind her three beloved dogs, Nina, Anna, and Sprocket.
Marjorie also adored her godchildren, Kathy Broussard, Julian “BJ” Frank Jr., and Kimberly Comeaux.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, Betty and Edward Frank; her brother, Richard Frank; her brother-in-law, Randy Thibodeaux; and her nephews, Eddie Frank Jr. and Sammy Thibodeaux.
She is survived by her children, Nicole Busby, Betty Young (Nicole), Joseph Busby, and Tara Gondron (Jamie); her grandchildren, Victor Jones III, River Gondron, Tiffany Jones, Daisy Gondron, Mica Gondron, and Caselynn Rogers; her siblings, Eddie Frank (Margie), Donna Thibodeaux, Julian Frank Sr. (Debbie), Johnston Frank, and Clare Babineaux (Eddie); and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
Pallbearers: Victor "Peanut" Jones III, Johnston Frank, Joey Busby, Bradley Louviere, Jacque Louviere, and Billy Louviere.
Honorary Pallbearer: Julian Frank, Sr.
