Louella was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and best friend whose greatest joy in life was her family. She had a special way of making the people she loved feel cared for, welcomed, and at home. Her kitchen was often the heart of the family, where she lovingly prepared meals for holidays, special occasions, and sometimes simply because she wanted to do something special for those she loved. She taught her children not only how to cook, but also one of life’s most important lessons—to be kind, to care for others, and to always have a loving heart. Family meant everything to Louella, and the time she spent surrounded by the people she loved was what made her the happiest.
When she wasn't caring for her family, Louella enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She loved playing cards and going to bingo with her friends and family, sharing laughter, stories, and good times along the way. During her quiet moments, she enjoyed working on word search puzzles and taking time to relax. Louella's love could be felt in the meals she prepared, the lessons she taught, the laughter she shared, and the countless little things she did for the people around her. She leaves behind a lifetime of beautiful memories and a legacy of love and kindness that will continue through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of her family.
Louella is survived by her children, Marsha Broussard, Armantine Joseph (Jody), Paul Duhon, Erick Duhon, Michael Duhon, Jr., Bryan Duhon, April Duhon; twenty-three grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and 6 great great-grandchildren
