Linda Ann Prince Guillotte

New Iberia – Funeral Services for Mrs. Linda Ann Prince Guillotte, 77, will be held at 1:00PM Monday, August 10, 2026, at Frioux Funeral Home with Deacon Russel Hayes officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Sunday, August 09, 2026, at Frioux Funeral Home of New Iberia with a recitation of the rosary by The Men’s Rosary Group at 6:00PM. Visitation will resume at 9:00AM until the time of service on Monday, August 10, 2026.

Linda’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven with joy, color, and boundless love. She found her greatest peace in her flower gardens, tending each bloom with the same care and devotion she gave to the people she loved. When music played, she danced with a spirit that lifted everyone around her, and when she rode horses, she felt free in a way only the open fields could offer.

Holidays were her magic—especially Halloween, her absolute favorite. She delighted in the decorations, the costumes, and the laughter that filled the season. Traveling brought her endless happiness, whether she was relaxing on a sunny beach, exploring Florida, or experiencing the wonder of Disney World.

Above all, Linda cherished her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud grandmother, and a joyful great‑grandmother. Her warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Rodney Guillotte, Sr.; three sons, Donald “Donnie” J. Etie, Jr., Darrin C. Etie and his wife Marcia, and Cody Michael J. Rodrigue and his wife Niki Renee’; a step-son, Rodney Guillotte, Jr. and his wife Nicole; two step daughters, Chevalina Guillotte and Theresa Guillotte; nineteen grandchildren, Dylan Etie, Derek Etie, Mason Etie, Jillian Babineaux, Jett Rodrigue, Gage Borel, Savannah Guillotte, Rylee Guillotte, Ryan Guillottte, Alyssa Villerman, Tyrin Nora, Tylin Guillotte, Tyreanna Brock, Jaylon Guillotte, Brinasia Guillotte, Malasia Guillotte, Allaysia Clay, Dwayne Clay, and Dedrick Clay; and a sister, Evelyn Richard; and nine great-grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Odette Legnon Prince; and a brother-in-law, Joseph “Sonny” Richard.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Michael Rodrigue, Jett Rodrigue, Mason Etie, Darrin Etie, Donald Etie, Rodney Guillotte, Jr., Dylan Etie, and Derek Etie.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Hope Health and Hospice for all the kindness, comfort, and care they showed Mrs. Linda and her family.
