Lafayette- Funeral Services for Mrs. Joyce Monique, 75, will be held at David Funeral Home on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at 2PM with Deacon Keith Duhon officiating and cremation will follow.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 10AM until 8Pm with a recitation of the rosary at 6PM.

Visitation will resume on Sunday, September 4, 2022 from 8AM until time of services.

A resident of St. Martinville, Mrs. Joyce passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, August 29, 2022. She was a beautician for many years. She enjoyed playing Pokeno and above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Norris Monique of St. Martinville; her son, Andre’ Monique and his wife Crystal of Kaplan; her daughters, Nichole Babin and her husband Chad of Parks, Danielle Bourque and her husband Darren of Broussard, Anitra Monique of St. Martinville, Ronta Bellard  and her husband Steven of Scott, and Patrice Monique of Scott; her brothers, Russell Tribe of Youngsville, Michael Tribe of Youngsville, and Earl Tribe of Erath; her grandchildren, Courtney Bourque, Tayler Monique, Braxton Babin, Briley Babin, Brogan Babin, and Carson Bourque;  her great-grandchildren, Mila Mire, Elee Babin, Hollyn Briley, Kinley Briley, Briggs Babin, and Kacelynn Babin: and her two godchildren, Paul Tribe, Brice Tribe and Bonnie Reaux.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bonie Tribe and Delta LeBlanc Tribe; her brothers, Gilbert Tribe, and Charles Tribe; and her sisters, Ramona Broussard, and Leona Kreig.
