Johnathan David Rawlins

Erath – A private gathering of family for Johnathan David Rawlins, 57, was held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Frioux-David Funeral Home of Abbeville. Interment will follow at Beau Pre Cemetery at a later date.

A native of Louisa and a resident of New Iberia, Johnathan died at 9:05AM on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Bayou Shadows Rehabilitation Center. He was known as an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints and University of Louisiana at Lafayette sports.

He is survived by two sisters, Angela Morgan and Melaine Sammons; and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Elizabeth Olander Rawlins.
