Cliff Plaisance

New Iberia- A private memorial service will be held by the family on Monday, September 8. He will be laid to rest at Beau Pre Cemetery in Jeanerette, LA.

Jemy Clifford Plaisance “Cliff”, was born and raised in New Iberia where he attended public school. He was a member of First Baptist Church of New Iberia.

He loved raising animals, swimming, and enjoyed playing acoustic guitar. He was a fun-loving uncle, affectionately known as “Bubba”.

He was a resident at ELMHS in Jackson, LA for many of his adult years where he was cared for with love and compassion.

He is predeceased by his parents Jemy J. and Jean W. Plaisance. He is survived by his 3 siblings, Ruth P. Haney, Jeanne Plaisance, and Wes Plaisance; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to NAMI Acadiana.

Frioux-David Funeral Home of New Iberia, 1101 Trotter Street, (337) 369-6336, will be in charge of the arrangements.
