New Iberia- Funeral services for Ms. Jamie Fargo, 48, will be held at Frioux Funeral Home of New Iberia on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 2:30PM with Deacon Russell Hayes officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be held at Frioux Funeral Home of New Iberia on Friday, September 11, 2026 from 3:00PM until 8:30PM with a recitation of the rosary by the Men’s Rosary Group at 6:00PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 10:00AM until time of services.

A resident of New Iberia, Ms. Jamie passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026. Jamie was a true homebody who found joy in the simple comforts of home. She enjoyed spending time on her phone playing the “Lord’s Mobile” game and watching romance reels. These little moments brought her happiness and reflected her easygoing spirit. Jamie took pride in her work as a pharmacy technician. She was dedicated to her work and valued the opportunity to help others through what she did each day. Above all, Jamie cherished her family. The love she had for them was at the heart of who she was, and the memories they shared with her will remain a treasured part of their lives. She also held a special place in her heart for her beloved cat, Braylee, who was a cherished companion. Ms. Jamie will be deeply missed by many.

She is survived by her children, Mykal Fargo of New Iberia and Layla Fargo of New Iberia; her grandchildren, Elisha Fargo and one on the way; her godmother, Connie R. Eskind; and her cousin, Karly Eskind.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lucas Fargo, Sr. and Trudy Rivet Fargo; and her brother, Lucas Fargo, Jr.
