Jeanerette - A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial and celebration of life for Mrs. Jacqulin F. Landry, 72, will be held at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 1:00 PM with Deacon Russell Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Beau Pre Cemetery.

Visitation with family and friends will be held at Frioux-David Funeral Home of Jeanerette on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 10:00AM until the time of services.

A resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Jacqulin (Hunny), passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Following a courageous battle with cancer. Mrs. Jacqulin found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—cheering on her favorite basketball teams, enjoying a day of shopping, or getting lost in a good book. She worked as a cosmetologist and then a bank teller until her early retirement when she focused on what she loved most: her family. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Above all, she loved her family and spending precious time with them. She also held a special place in her heart for Mr. Jingles and Axel Riggs, who were always by her side. Jacqulin’s legacy of love, kindness, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Jacqulin married her high school sweetheart, Timothy Landry in 1971. Together they raised three daughters and enjoyed a life full of adventure and love. She is survived by her daughters, Angel L. Landry and her fiancé Anthony Nicko, Kay L. Dwyer and her husband Ryan, and Tara E. Landry; her grandchildren, Gunner Jude Plessala and his fiance Alyse Landry, Gemma Leigh Nicko, and Brecken Timothy Dwyer; and her great grandchildren, Drakeston and Braxton Plessala.
