Gail created and taught Jazzercise, did a lot of volunteer work and served on boards for local organizations including the Louisiana Sugarcane Festival and Fair, Sugarena, the New Iberia Chamber of Commerce and visited inmates providing spiritual and emotional support. She was a strong woman of great faith and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church on the Teche for 60+ years, serving the church as a catechism teacher, eucharistic minister and lecturer. In her spare time, Gail enjoyed spending time with her 4 children, 12 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren as well as spending time with friends, going to the casino, dance reviews, festivals, and 'cutting up every dance floor she could find.'
