Elizabeth found joy in life’s simple pleasures. A longtime fan of The Young and the Restless and The Price Is Right, she rarely missed an episode, delighting in the drama and excitement of her favorite shows. She loved shopping trips and dining out, always bringing joy and energy to every outing.
She was known for her green thumb and proudly maintained one of the best-looking yards in Delcambre. She and her husband painted charming wooden yard decorations that brought their home to life and made their garden a true local treasure. Her flower beds bloomed with love and care, reflecting the beauty of her soul.
Elizabeth was a passionate sports fan, especially devoted to the New Orleans Saints. Her greatest pride, however, was being the biggest supporter of her children. She never missed a game when they played for the Delcambre Panthers during their youth, always cheering from the sidelines with unwavering love and enthusiasm. She also had a deep affection for cats, always finding room in her heart for their gentle companionship.
Most of all, Elizabeth was a woman of deep Catholic faith, which guided her throughout her life. Her strength, devotion, and kindness touched everyone who knew her.
She will be dearly missed but forever remembered by those who loved her.
She is survived by two daughters, Jessica Comeaux and Jillian Jones; five grandchildren, Ashton Johnson and her husband Quinten, Gabrielle Bessard, Asya Comeaux, Gy’Kel Bessard, and Gia Bessard; four great-grandchildren, Delvante Levene, Delnesha Levene, Delrhiana Levene, and Drayland Bellow; three step-grandchildren, Adriana Bess, Mya Johnson, and Kaden Johnson; a godchild, Christine Vallot; and a host of relatives and friends.
