Broussard – A Gathering of Remembrance for Mrs. Elizabeth “Sue” Rensch Ivie, 67, will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 10:00AM until 1:00PM. A native of Tulsa, OK and a resident of Broussard Mrs. Ivie died at 12:10AM on Monday, May 27, 2019 at Carpenter House of Lafayette. Mrs. Sue was known for her great grandchildren and her dog. She is survived by a daughter, Barbie Briggs of Lafayette; a granddaughter, Britney Briggs and her fiancé Clay Belaire of St. Martinville; three great grandchildren, Abigail Belaire, Hudson Belaire, and Riley Belaire; three sisters, Jeanette Trainor and her husband Larry, Patsy McGuffin and her husband Mac, and Carol Mathesen; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Larry Ivie; and her parents, Edward and Mary Evans Rensch.
