Debra Ann Migues

Jeanerette- Funeral Services for Ms. Debra Ann Migues, 69, will be held at Frioux-David Funeral Home of Jeanerette on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 1:00PM with Deacon Russell Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Frioux-David Funeral Home of Jeanerette on Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 2:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 6:00PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 8:00AM until time of services.

A resident of Jeanerette, Ms. Debra passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026. She was a woman with a big heart and an open door, always caring for everyone around her. She had a deep love for her cats and dogs, who were her constant companions that brought her endless comfort and joy. She found happiness near the water whether it was fishing, crawfishing, or crabbing. She also enjoyed spending time at the poker machines, where she found fun, excitement, and a good story to tell afterward. More than anything, she will be remembered for her caring nature. She worried about everyone, helped whenever she could, and made sure no one felt alone or forgotten. Her kindness, generosity, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

She is survived by her children, Tasha Bahwell, Daniel Bahwell, and Edward Bahwell. Jr.; her grandchildren, Gavin Beard, Allysia Bahwell, Ravin Bahwell, Devin Bahwell, Jardin Bahwell, Aiden Bahwell, Merissa Bahwell, C.J. Michael Bahwell, Bella Bahwell, and Brooklyn Mayo; her great-grandchildren, Paisley Bahwell and Tinisley Bahwell; and her siblings, Darlene Migues, Joyce Anderson, Gloria Hollier, Francis Bercier, and Robert Gisclair.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford J. Migues and Thersa Clement Migues; and her siblings, Eli Migues and Josephine Lacour.

Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Bahwell, Scott Delcambre, Aiden Bahwell, Devin Bahwell, Jardin Bahwell, and Justin Willis.

Frioux-David Funeral Home of Jeanerette, 400 Provost Street, 337-276-5151, will be handling the arrangements.
