David Dean Labruyere

Erath – Services celebrating the life of David D. LaBruyere, 65 will be held Monday April 25, 2022 at 1:00 PM in David Funeral Home of Erath.

Visitation will be held Monday April 25, 2022 from 9:00 AM until time of services.

Mr. David was a native of Bayou Vista LA and a resident of Erath, for over 37 years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy; an avid fisherman; and a member of the “Maxed Out” pool team. He was loved by all of his family and friends.

David was survived by his loving wife of 42 years Jackie LaBruyere; two children Shawn and his wife Crystal LaBruyere, and Cami and her husband Roland Lewis; his mother Dolores LaBruyere; three sisters Kelly Donathan, Monica LaBruyere, and Holyn Bradford. He is also survived by his three grandchildren Makayla and Summer LaBruyere and Cade White; his four step grandchildren Brytlyn Walker, Lindsey, Jade, and Gavin Frederick; and three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his father Ralph “Pat” LaBruyere; his grandparents Aggie and Dominque LaBruyere and Selena and Robert Kimball.
