Darryl Boniol

Lafayette- Funeral Services for Mr. Darryl Boniol, 86, will be held at Covenant Methodist Church on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at 1:30PM with Reverand Michael Cloud officiating. Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held at Covenant Methodist Church on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 12:30PM until time of services.

A resident of Lafayette, Mr. Darryl passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025. Before his retirement, Darryl built a respected career in pharmaceutical sales and was known for his work ethic, professionalism, and dedication. Beyond his career, he found immense joy in the time he spent with those he loved. Darryl and his beloved wife, Jeanne, shared a passion for adventure, traveling the world together and creating lasting memories. They visited nearly every corner of the globe with exception to the South Pole. Back home, Darryl was a proud supporter of LSU, rarely missing a Saturday night game and always cheering on the Tigers with enthusiasm. More than anything, Darryl cherished his family. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a loving grandfather. Time spent with his grandsons brought him endless joy, and he embraced every opportunity to be with them. He will be deeply missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Boniol of Lafayette; his sons, Mark Boniol of Lafayette, and Bart Boniol of Arizona; his daughters, Jill Walker and her husband Jacques of Lacombe, and Penny Boniol of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Christopher Scallan and Jefferson Walker; his siblings, Michael Boniol and his wife Joann of Arlington, TX, and Jacqueline Bouvier and her husband Deane of Torrance, CA; and his sister-in-law, Loretta Wade Boniol of Earleton, FL. He Loved and was loved by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins from Louisiana, Texas, Colorado, and California.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roland Boniol and Cecile Boniol; and his brother, Donovan Boniol.
