Darline Doxey

Abbeville - Funeral Services for Ms. Darline Doxey, 67, will be held at Frioux-David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 2:00PM with Pastor Brian Miku officiating. Interment will follow at a later date.

Visitation will be held at Frioux-David Funeral Home on Thursday, July 24, 2024 from 4:00PM until 10:00PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, July 25, 2025 from 8:00AM until 2:00PM.

A resident of Abbeville, Ms. Darline passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025. She enjoyed being outdoors. Fishing, crabbing, riding her golf cart, watching Halmark movies and old westerns, and going to the family camp were some of her favorite hobbies. She was employed for many years at Aggreko in New Iberia, LA where she spent most of her time, working side-by-side with whom she considered her second family. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchild. She was a loving and selfless person that was always ready to help someone in need. She will be deeply missed by many.

She is survived by her daughter, Cassie Drew of Kaplan; her grandchildren, Dillon Drake Cessac, Sophia Ella-Rose Cessac, and Kross James LaPointe; her great grandchild, Beckham Drake Cessac; and her brothers, Carl Doxey, Oran Gail Doxey, and Dwayne Doxey.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Oran Doxey and Rose Hebert Doxey.
