Lafayette – Memorial services and interment for Dale Benoit, 69, will be held at a later date.

A native of Louisiana and longtime resident of Lafayette, Dale passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 5, 2025. She was a passionate lover of the outdoors, finding joy in fishing, shrimping, and tending to her garden. Her connection to nature was matched only by her deep love for her family, with whom she cherished every moment. She leaves behind a legacy of love and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her lifelong partner Kenneth Benoit; her daughters, Lacie Benoit and her fiancé John Michael Miller II, and Brooke Benoit; and her sister, Shirley Touchet and her husband Allen Touchet.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Willis Gary and Felicia Vice Gary; and her brother, Steve Gary.
