Corine Lasseigne Deslatte

Corine Lasseigne Deslatte, beloved mother to three girls. She was 83 years old, and passed away in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, on Sunday July 20, 2025, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

She was born in Catahoula, Louisiana 1942 to Hypolite Lasseigne and Julia Miguez Lasseigne.

Corine was a devoted mother. Her daughters were her pride and joy. She always said their birth changed her life for the better, and they felt that in the love and support she provided.

Corine first and foremost had a deep love for Jehovah God. On January 12, 1991 she devoted her life to serve her God Jehovah in the fullest sense. She loved Jehovah God and her Christian Ministry. She served as a regular pioneer for a few years and then as a full-time auxiliary pioneer for several years. She also served on the Regional Building Committee, helping to build new Kingdom Halls where there was a need. She loved people. She didn’t have a lot in the way of resources but she was always willing to share generously. She was kind and loved by all. She was especially proud of the women her three daughters became, as servants of Jehovah.

Corine was survived by her husband Carrol Deslatte. Her three loving daughters, Deidre wife of Jed Landry, Penny wife of Randy Baker, and Kay wife of Aaron Guillory who will never forget the love she brought to their lives. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Tiffany Theriot, Callan Landry and wife Jessica, Caleb Benoit and wife Sandi, Kye Landry, and Joshua Guillory and wife Amanda. Five Great Grandchildren Ali’annah Benoit, Jaxon Bergeron, Ren Guillory, Aria Benoit and Layla Benoit. Her youngest brother Gerald Lasseigne husband of Judy. She is preceded in death by her father Hypolite Lasseigne, her mother Julia Miguez Lasseigne, brothers Harry Lasseigne, Alvin Lasseigne, Paul Lasseigne, Hypolite James Lasseigne, and sisters Theresa Lombardi, Alice McReynalds, Seraphine Hayes, and Lucille Solari.
