Charmane Daigle Latiolais

New Iberia – Funeral Services for Mrs. Charmane Daigle Latiolais, 72, will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Frioux Funeral Home of New Iberia. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will begin Monday, June 15, 2026, at 3:00PM until 8:00PM and resume on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 9:00AM until the time of service.

Charmane was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great- grandmother whose life was defined by her love for family, nature, and simple joys.

She found great happiness in gardening and took special pride in her beautiful flower gardens. One of her favorite pastimes was collecting angel statues, carefully painting them and placing them among her flowers, creating peaceful spaces filled with beauty and love. Her garden reflected the kindness and creativity she shared with everyone around her.

Charmane also enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing and diamond mining, pursuits that brought her both excitement and treasured memories. She loved gathering with family and friends to play card games, particularly Bourré, where her competitive spirit and joyful laughter were always on display.

Above all, Charmane's greatest joy was her family. She was a source of love, strength, wisdom, and encouragement to those who knew her. Her unwavering devotion to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren left a lasting impact that will be treasured for generations.

Charmane will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the love she gave so freely. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will continue to bloom in the gardens she tended, the traditions she shared, and the family she loved so dearly.

Her legacy of love, faith, and family will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband, James Latiolais, Sr.; a son, James Latiolais, Jr. and his wife Tina; a daughter, Regina Bourque and her husband John; four grandchildren, Caleb Latiolais and his wife Rachelle, Lacie Guidry and her husband James, Lauren Louviere and her husband Austin, and Michael Bourque and his wife Tristan; two step-grandchildren, Scott Norris and his wife Mallory, and Niki Norris Hebert and her husband Seth; eleven great-grandchildren, Easton Bourque, Dalise Bourque, Jenson Bourque, Kaelyn Guidry, Addalyn Guidry, Carter Bourque, Cruize Louviere, Caroline Louviere, Khylyn Guillory, Leland Briscoe, and Lilly Briscoe; five step-great- grandchildren, Madelyn “Maddy” Norris, Maddix Norris, Drake Norris, Brody Hebert, and Landon Hebert; two sisters, Cynthia Gaudet and her husband Joe, and Dorothy Flook; and three brothers, David Daigle and his wife Bonnie, Ronald Daigle, and Terry Daigle.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Kaiser and Dorothy Dozar Daigle; a daughter- in-law, Mona Latiolais; three brothers, Leroy Daigle, Robert Daigle, and Chris Daigle; and a baby sister, Patricia Lea Daigle.

Serving as pall bearers will be Caleb Latiolais, Michael Bourque, James Guidry, Austin Louviere, Joe Gaudet, and Luke Carline.

Serving as honorary pall bearers will be Easton Bourque, Carter Bourque, Cruize Louviere, and Jensen Bourque.

Frioux Funeral Home of New Iberia, 1101 Trotter Street, 337-369-6336, will be handling the services.
