Charles "Chuck" Allen Napier

Jeanerette – A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Charles “Chuck” Allen Napier, 64, will be held at 12:00PM on Friday, June 12. 2026 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Fr. Paul Moreau officiating. Interment will follow at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Frioux Funeral Home of Jeanerette on Thursday, June 11, 2026 beginning at 5:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary by the Men’s Rosary Group of Jeanerette at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, June 12, 2026 from 8:00AM until the time of the services.

A native and resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Napier died at 12:58AM on Monday, June 8, 2026 at Ochsner in Jefferson.

Charles Allen “Chuck” Napier was a proud graduate of St. Joseph High School, where he ran track, played basketball, and tennis. He went on to attend the University of Southwestern Louisiana.

Chuck built a long and respected career in the sugar industry, serving as a Shop Foreman at Honiron before becoming the General Manager at Moresi Foundry. He was known for his steady leadership, practical knowledge, and the loyalty he inspired in the people who worked alongside him.

Outside of work, Chuck lived life with enthusiasm and a competitive streak. He was an avid golfer, happiest with a club in hand. He loved the LSU Tigers with the kind of passion only a true Louisiana fan can understand. At home, he found peace in gardening — tending plants with the same patience and care he offered the people in his life.

Chuck’s interests were simple, steady, and sincere, and they reflected the man he was: hardworking, loyal, and full of quiet joy in the things he loved.

He is survived by his two sons, Ben Stephen Napier and Christopher Patrick Napier both of Jeanerette; his parents, Patrick and Trudi Mouret Napier of Jeanerette; two brothers, Brian P. Napier and his wife Tammy, and John F. Napier and his wife Rebecca; two sisters, Debra Johnson and her husband Steve and Susan Delcambre and her husband Doug; a grandchild, Andee Rose Napier; eleven nieces and nephews, Holly, Josh J., Brady, Drew, Kary, Josh N., Charlie, Macy, Nicholas, Matthew, and Zachary; and numerous great nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his cousin, Eric Mouret.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ben Napier, Christopher Napier, Brady Johnson, Josh Napier, Charlie Delcambre, and Nicholas Napier.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Doug Delcambre, Steve Johnson, Brian Napier, John Napier, Damon Migues, Possum Cantrelle, Trey Mouret, Greg Mouret, Josh Johnson, Drew Johnson, Matthew Napier, and Zachary Napier.
