Charles A. Mouret

Jeanerette – Funeral Services for Charles A. Mouret, Jr., 82, will be held at 1:30PM on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Frioux Funeral Chapel of Jeanerette with Fr. Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow at Beau Pre Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Frioux-David Funeral Home of Jeanerette on Thursday, November 13, 2025 beginning at 8:00AM until the time of the service with a recitation of the rosary at 10:00AM.

A native and resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Mouret died at 8:15PM on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Iberia Medical Center. He proudly served his country in the National Guard and was an avid LSU, Saints, and Astros fan. Mr. Mouret loved being with family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his two sons, Greg P. Mouret and his wife Crystal of Jeanerette and Charles Trey Mouret, III. And his wife Heidi of Broussard; a sister, Trudy M. Napier and her husband Pat of Jeanerette; five grandchildren, Amy Mouret, Tyler Mouret, Kailee Mouret, Ryleigh Mouret, and Rowynn Mouret; and one great grandchild, Mia Derouen.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Pirnie Mouret; his parents, Charles A. Mouret, Sr. and Isabelle Lemaire Mouret; and a son, Eric Mouret.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Mouret, Brian Napier, Chuck Napier, Louis Pirnie, Josh Derouen, and Brian Sonnier.
