She carried a positive attitude wherever she went and touched the lives of everyone she met with kindness and grace. Her heart was open to all, and she freely shared her love with family, friends, and strangers alike. Celestine attended Boley High School in Jeanerette, where her lifelong appreciation for learning began. She remained a passionate reader throughout her life, always seeking opportunities to expand her knowledge and grow in understanding. Education was important to her, and she believed deeply in personal growth and self-improvement. She dedicated many years of service as a nursing assistant at Dr. Blue’s office, where she was known for her care, compassion, and strong work ethic. A gifted writer with beautiful penmanship, Celestine found joy in expressing herself through words. Above all, her family was the center of her world.
