Cassie Beaufort

New Iberia—A Memorial Service for Mr. Cass Beaufort will be held at a later date. He passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at 9:45 a.m. in Lafayette, LA.

He was a resident of New Iberia, born to Edmond Cox and Cora Lee McHoney on August 12, 1925, in Jacksonboro, South Carolina.

He was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Congregation in New Iberia and was dedicated to his ministry as an Elder.

He enjoyed the hobbies of traveling cross-country and internationally, bowling, playing cards, fishing, driving and family gatherings.

He leaves his children behind to cherish his legacy; Bradd Beaufort (Gina)- Birmingham, AL and Tammy Beaufort (Don), and son-in-law Paul Cormier. He also leaves a host of grand and great-grandchildren, family, and friends throughout the country and Nassau, Bahamas.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Tanzie Beaufort, Cassie Beaufort Jr., son and Lynda Beaufort-Cormier, daughter.
