Carol H. Hoffpauir

Loreauville—Carol Henson Hoffpauir, age 80, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021, at 8:39 a.m. at her residence in Loreauville, with her family at her side.

Carol was born on August 7, 1941, in New Orleans to Jimmy and Helen Morris Henson.

She loved her family dearly. She enjoyed spoiling all of her grand and great-grandchildren. She would enjoy any and all activities that included water. She loved fishing, shrimping, and boating.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Guary E. Hoffpauir of Loreauville; her children, Robert Dale Thomas (Carolyn) of Loreauville, Tracy Jordan of Loreauville, Darlene Ann Cheramie of Golden Meadows, Carlene Duet (Willie) of Cut Off, Michael Glen Thomas of Tunica; and one brother, Ralph Henson (Jackie) Winnfield.

She is preceded in death by the father of her children, Woodley Pierre Thomas; her parents, Jimmy and Helen Morris Henson; siblings, Doyle Henson, Phillip Henson, Diana Henson, and Gloria Broussard.

The family would like to express their thanks for all the love and support the staff of Hospice of Acadian showed to their family during their time of need.
