Byron James Reaux

A Celebration of Life will be Friday June 12, 2020 at 1:00 PM in David Funeral Home for, Byron James Reaux, 61.

Visitation will be held Friday June 12. 2020 from 10:00 AM until time of services

Byron was born on July 22nd, 1958, in Lafayette, Louisiana. He was a lifelong resident of Broussard. He graduated from Comeaux High School class of 1976. He then went on to graduate from Teche Vo-Tech where he obtained his trade as a diesel mechanic. Byron served his community for over forty years as a diesel mechanic for Industrial Lift Truck. He enjoyed camping, hunting and being outdoors. His favorite pastime was fishing with his wife, sons, grandchildren and his father. Every spring you could find him working side by side with his wife in his vegetable garden. He loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Bryon passed away on Thursday, April 16th in Youngsville, Louisiana.

Byron is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Brenda Sue Trahan Reaux; His three sons, Brandon Justin Reaux of Youngsville, Brock Jacob Reaux and his wife Tarrah of Broussard, Brady Jude Reaux of Youngsville; Grandchildren, Brette Lane Reaux, Kinley Louise Reaux, Landon Charles Reaux, Kael Jacob Reaux, Kolt Louis Reaux, Jude Alexander Reaux, Jaxon Charles Reaux; His brother Doyle Anthony Reaux and his wife Nicole of Youngsville; Niece, Lotie Theresa Reaux of Youngsville, along with many other special family members including his aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved chocolate lab “Juice”.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Charles and Rita Louise Reaux; Sister In-Law, Vanessa Trahan; Father In-Law, Howard Trahan.
