New Iberia – Memorial Services for Brett Anthony Richardson, 36, will begin at 11:30PM on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Frioux-David Funeral Home of New Iberia. A private interment will be held at a later date.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 9:00AM on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Frioux- David Funeral Home of New Iberia. A Rosary will be prayed by at Frioux-David Funeral Home by The Men’s Rosary Group at 11:00AM.

A native of New Iberia and a resident of Youngsville, Brett Anthony Richardson passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at his residence.

Known for his strong work ethic, he provided for his family with pride and determination. His greatest joy was being an active and present father, supporting his children in their extracurricular activities, celebrating their achievements, and always showing up when it mattered most. He was a devoted husband and a deeply loving family man who cherished every moment spent with his family.

Brett is survived by his mother, Janis Provost Richardson; three children, Ainsley Toups, Adeline Ross, step-son, Brantley Duhon; a sister, Brandi Delcambre and her husband Brandon; and godchild, Avery Delcambre.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kasie Richardson; a son, Jasper Richardson; his father, Steve Richardson; his paternal grandparents, Melvin “Tiger” and Rosemary Richardson; and his maternal grandparents, Lester and MaryAnn Provost.
