Bobbye Ann Brown Daigle

Jeanerette – Funeral Services for Mrs. Bobbye Ann Brown Daigle, 84, will be at 1:00PM, on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Frioux Funeral Home of Jeanerette.

Visitation will begin at 10:00AM and continue until the time of service. Burial will follow at Beau Pre Memorial Park.

Bobbye was a woman that lived a life of great accomplishments and simple joys. From an early age, her outgoing personality and natural confidence were evident. She was a majorette at Jeanerette High School and, at just 17 years old, was honored to be crowned Miss Jeanerette in 1959, the same year she graduated from high school.

Her dedication to education and her future career continued after graduation. In 1960, she earned her Associate Degree in Secretarial Sciences from the University of Southwestern Louisiana. She went on to build a distinguished career with Marathon Oil, where she proudly served as an Executive Secretary for over 25 years. Her professionalism and dedication to her field were evident not only through her work, but also through her involvement with Professional Secretaries International (PSI), where she served as president.

While she took great pride in her professional accomplishments, she also loved tending to her flower garden. She enjoyed playing slot machines at the casino and could often be found with a good crossword puzzle or a game of solitaire.

She will be remembered for her great accomplishments and love of family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Bobbye Ann Brown Daigle is survived by her daughter, Denise Daigle Pitre and her husband Theron; two sisters, Ginger Brown Louviere and her husband Dana, and Jeannine Brown LaFrance and her husband Ivan; four grandsons, Brennan LeBlanc, Aaron LeBlanc, Nathan LeBlanc, and Jordan David; and two nephews, Kevin Louviere and Stephan Louviere.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James Buchanan Brown and AnnaBelle Patout Brown; one daughter, Jill Daigle Hebert; and one brother, James “Jim” “Bub” Brown.

Pallbearers will be Brennan LeBlanc, Nathan LeBlanc, Kevin Louviere, Jacques Hebert, John Fontane, and Jerome Fitch.
