New Iberia – Memorial services for Billy Landry Jr., 64, who passed away on February 10, 2026, will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Frioux-David Funeral Home with Deacon Russell Hayes officiating. Visitation will take place at Frioux-David Funeral Home of New Iberia on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 9:00AM until the time of service.

Billy Landry Jr. had a deep love for the outdoors and an adventurous spirit. He could always be found swinging a racket, golf club, or pickleball paddle and soaking up the sun. If you knew him you knew he was happiest around his dogs Genesis and Bella, who stayed by his side loyally until his passing.

He had the kind of smile that was bright, electrifying, and impossible not to return. And when music played, he answered instinctively. He celebrated his joy through dancing, allowing everyone around him to feel freer, lighter, and happier just being near him. His energetic nature, contagious smile, and love for the outdoors will be missed by all who knew him.

Billy is survived by his sister, Annette Jackson; nieces, Brandi Broussard and Mackenzie Fredrick.

He was preceeded in death by his parents, Billy Landry Sr. and Beatrice Guilbeau Landry; brother Barry Landry; nephew, Jeremy Broussard.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to defray the cost of funeral expenses.
