Beverly Trahan Giardelli

Abbeville – A Liturgy of the Word will be held for Ms. Beverly Trahan Giardelli, 73, at 10:00, on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Frioux Funeral Home of Abbeville, with Deacon Tim Marcantel officiating. Entombment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum of Erath.

Visitation will open at 2:00PM, on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Frioux Funeral Home of Abbeville and continue until 8:00PM. A Recitation of the Rosary will be led by Cathy Harris at 6:00PM.

Beverly Trahan Giardelli was a woman who found great joy in caring for those around her. She never hesitated to put the needs of family, friends, and loved ones before her own. Providing for others was not an obligation to Beverly, it was one of life's greatest pleasures and a reflection of her generous heart. Beverly loved Jesus and lived her life guided by His teachings. She was devoted to prayer and found comfort and strength in reciting the Rosary, often praying it multiple times throughout the day. Her faith was the foundation upon which she built a life filled with kindness, compassion, and grace. Beverly embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. She loved dancing and could often be found enjoying music and sharing laughter with those around her. She also had a passion for playing pool and proudly participated in an APA Pool League, where she enjoyed both the competition and the friendships she formed. Nothing brought Beverly more happiness than gathering her family around the table. She expressed her love through cooking and took great pride in preparing meals for those she cherished. Among her many specialties, her famous "Chocolate Bread" was a family favorite and the most requested treat, creating sweet memories that will live on for generations. Beverly also shared a special and cherished bond with her loyal furry companion, Poulette. Their companionship brought her comfort, joy, and unconditional love, and the two were rarely far apart. Though Beverly's presence will be deeply missed, her legacy of faith, generosity, compassion, and love will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Ms. Beverly Trahan Giardelli is survived by her son, Clint Roy (Tracy); life partner of 12 years, Edward Charlie Vincent; son’s widow, Kimberly Newman Cantrelle; stepchildren, Diana Pappas (William), Kenny Giardelli (Sandy), Cindy Giardelli, and Christina Williams (Frankie); sister, Charlene Trahan (Randy Roy Hastings); stepbrother, Tracy Hebert (Joy); and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Paul Trahan and Girlie Marie Hebert; son, Leonard “Lenny” Michael Giardelli, Jr.; and sister, Janell Trahan Bettice.

Pallbearers will be Brodie Trahan, Shannon Luquette, Randy Hastings, Josh Mistric, Josh Calamia, and Brett Breaux.
