Beverly B. Bessard

Abbeville–A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Beverly B. Boudreaux, age 75, on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Father Francois Stainte-Marie as Celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. A Rosary will be prayed at Frioux Funeral Home on March 27, 2026, at 10:30 a.m.

A native and life resident of Abbeville, Beverly B. Bessard passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at her residence.

Beverly was a loving mother, devoted sister, and a cherished best friend whose warmth touched everyone she met. She was a deeply family-oriented woman who adored her children and grandchildren, always placing their happiness and well-being above all else. Known for her kind heart and joyful spirit, Beverly loved spending time celebrating life, whether it was enjoying a good party or laughing and playing with her nieces and nephews. She found great happiness in music, often filling her days with the songs she loved most. A truly hardworking woman, Beverly’s strength and dedication were evident in all she did, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unforgettable memories.

Beverley is survived by her children, Harvey Bessard, Jr., Gregory Bessard (Sheena); 9 grandchildren; 9 grandchildren; siblings, Barbara B. Adams, Marilyn Boudreaux, and Yvonne B. Morris (Caszell), and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by Tony Boudreaux, Calvin Boudreaux, Louis Boudreaux, Jr., Roland Boudreaux, Angelo Boudreaux, Ray Boudreaux, Linda Boudreaux, Meriam Boudreaux; brother-in-law, Elton Adams, and former husband, Harvey Bessard, Sr.

Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Louis Simon, Senic Briggs, Colby Johnson, Gene Williams, Kenneth Adams, Kip Turley, and Christian Boudreaux.
