Annie Broussard

Broussard- A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Annie Richard Broussard, 81, will be held at 3:30PM on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Casey Dugas officiating.  Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 9:00AM until the time of the services.

A native of Erath and a resident of Broussard, Mrs. Annie died at 9:15AM on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at her residence.  She enjoyed gardening and working with her flowers, but most of all she loved being with her family.

She is survived by a son, Dallas C. Broussard, Jr and his fiance’ Melanie Berard of Broussard; four daughters, Lucille Boudreaux and her husband Ted of Youngsville, Anna Theriot and her husband Randy of Broussard, Betty Broussard of Youngsville, and Madonna Broussard of Broussard; Two brothers, Ervin Richard and Paul Richard; fifteen grandchildren, Jennifer Toups, Trent Boudreaux, Dwan Bourque, Michael Theriot, Jarid Theriot, Leanna Acosta, Kara Smith, Sierra Joubert, Charles Nix, Josh Sanders, Alisha Sanders, Lori Ann Broussard, Taylor Broussard, Tyler Broussard, and Noah Stevens; and thirty-three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas C. Broussard, Sr.; her parents, Minus and Lucille Delahoussaye Richard; a brother, Ronald Richard; a sister, Yvonne Roy; and a grandson, Jeremy Theriot.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brock Bourque, Michael Theriot, Jarid Theriot, Charles Nix, Josh Sanders, and Tyler Broussard.
