Ann, a devoted wife and a loving mother, cherished her family above all else and built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support.
She was an avid cross-stitcher, creating detailed pieces that became treasured keepsakes for those fortunate enough to receive them. Ann loved spending time outdoors—whether fishing along a quiet shoreline, enjoying a weekend camping trip, or bowling with friends. She was also a devoted reader, rarely seen without a good book nearby.
Sports were one of Ann’s greatest pleasures. A loyal fan of football, basketball, and baseball, she especially loved cheering for the Yankees and LSU. It wasn’t unusual to find her with one game playing on the TV and another on the radio, happily taking in every moment of the action.
Ann dedicated 34 years of her life to elementary education, shaping countless young minds with patience, creativity, and heartfelt care. Her impact on her students and colleagues will be remembered for generations.
Ann will be deeply missed, but her spirit, love, and the memories she created will live on forever in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Raymond Pete; three daughters, Elizabeth Guidry and her husband Norris, Carla Pete, and Jennifer Flores and her husband Damian; six grandchildren, Savannah Guidry, Lexi Guidry, Jordyn Guidry, Carmyn Darcey, Christopher Darcey, and Jaxson Flores; two brothers, Carl Moulis and Philip Moulis; and a sister, Judith Aaron.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Stanley Moulis and Evelyn Patin.
Serving as pall bearers will be Norris Guidry, Christopher Darcey, Damian Flores, Joshua Lannie, David Lannie, and Jaxson Flores.
