Lafayette ~ Funeral Services will be held for Angela Williams, 69, at 2:00PM on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Frioux-David Funeral Home with Interment to follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.

Visitation will begin at 10:00AM, on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Frioux-David Funeral Home until the time of services.

Angela was the heart of her home, a nurturing presence who found true happiness in the roles she cherished most: being a mom, a grandmother, and a wife. Her love unwavering, stitched into every meal she made, every hug she gave, and every memory shared around the kitchen table.

A master in the kitchen, Angela had a way of bringing people together through food. Her signature roast and beloved meatball stew were more than just recipes—they were filled with flavor, laughter, and love.

Saturdays were sacred—not for rest, but for joy. "Sister Saturday," as she called it, was a weekly ritual of singing, dancing, and celebrating life with those she loved most. It was during these moments—carefree, full of laughter and song—that her true light shone the brightest. Angela, known to her family as “Nonna”, lives on in the traditions she created, the love she gave so freely, and the family she held so dear.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Rick Williams; a son, Philip J. Bonner and wife Ashleigh Bonner; two brothers, Peter Russo and Tommy Russo and his wife Cassie; two sisters, Myra Russo and Jackie Russo Henke and her husband Richard; three grandchildren, Anna Bonner, Jude Bonner, and Eden Bonner; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Emmanuel (Mac) and Nancy Bergeron Russo.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Philip Bonner, Peter Russo, Jude Bonner, Tommy Russo, Todd Day, and Gene Frangues.

The family would like to thank Hope Healthcare Hospice for their selfless service, as well as Hali Marshall, Karen Journet, Dr. Troy Martin and his staff.
