Delcambre- Funeral services will be conducted for James Comeaux, Sr., Age 87, at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church in Delcambre with Father Herb Bennerfield officiating at 1:00PM Saturday May 16, 2009 with recitation of a rosary at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Our Lady of The Lake Cemetery in Delcambre. Visitation will be held Saturday at the Church from 10:00AM until service time. A native and lifelong resident of Delcambre Mr. Comeaux, died Tuesday May 12, 2009 at 8:00PM in a Breaux Bridge health care facility. He is survived by three daughters; Florence Comeaux of Breaux Bridge, Barbara Comeaux of Lafayette, and Margaret Comeaux of Delcambre; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Mr. Comeaux is preceded in death by his sons, Donald Comeaux and James Comeaux, Jr.; his daughters, Brenda C. Davis and Agnes Comeaux; his brother, Joseph Coon Comeaux; and his parents, Jacques and Bertha Vincent Comeaux. Pallbearers will be family and friends of Mr. Comeaux.
