View Video Tribute New Iberia.Funeral services for Rebecca Kay Becky Touchet, Age 25 will be conducted Tuesday August 1, 2006 at 2:00 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Charles Langlois, pastor of St. Peters Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Ms. Touchet died Friday July 28, 2006 at 10:10 AM in the L.S.U. Health Science Center in Shreveport. Visiting hours will be observed at David Funeral Home Sunday July 30, 2006 from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday July 31, 2006 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and Tuesday August 1, 2006 from 8:00 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed Monday July 31, 2006 at 7:00 PM. Ms. Touchet was a native and lifelong resident of New Iberia. She was a 2002 graduate of Westgate High School. She enjoyed reading and listening to music. She was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. She is survived by her parents Gerald J. Touchet, Sr. of New Iberia and Ramona Leonard of New Iberia, Three sisters: Catina Touchet and her boyfriend Brent Romero of Broussard, Kristy Falgout and her husband Anthony of Kaplan, and Crissy Wesley and her husband Roman of Youngsville. Three brothers: Gerald J. Touchet, Jr. and his girlfriend Annie of New Iberia, Seth Touchet and his fiance Crystal Walker of New Iberia and Ryan Touchet of New Iberia, three aunts: Judy Touchet and Leona Bourque both of New Iberia and Judy Touchet of Scott. Other survivors are nieces and nephews: Kylie Touchet, Kaitlyn Touchet, Cameron Falgout, Kelsey Falgout, Alexia Wesley, Aaliyah Wesley and Alivia Wesley. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Euel Touchet and Eula Blanchard and her maternal grandparents Henry Leonard and Youon T. Barrilleaux. Serving as pallbearers will be Gerald J. Touchet, Jr., Seth Touchet, Ryan Touchet, Brent Romero, Anthony Falgout and Roman Wesley Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Walker and Jody Leonard. David Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of funeral arrangements.
